Change your cable box LED display screen.
For those cable boxes that have an LED display screen on the front of them, you have the option to have the time displayed or the current channel that you are watching. It’s up to you. Here’s how to adjust the display screen settings.
1. Press Menu twice.
2. Arrow down or up. Select Setup.
3. Select Cable Box Setup. Press OK.
4. Select Front LED Display and press the right arrow to toggle between Current Channel and Current Time.
5. Press Exit.

For the fastest route to your favorite shows, use Favorites.
What’s happening on your favorite channels? Get to them quickly and easily by programming favorites right from your remote.
1. Press Menu twice.
2. Select Parental Controls. Press OK.
3. Make up a 4-digit PIN. Press Enter.
4. Check out the Locks Setup screen to place locks on ratings, channels, and titles.

2. Select My Favorite Channels. Press OK.
3. Select Set up Favorite List. Press OK.
Edit list or add more lists by selecting Setup on the main menu (press Menu twice then press down arrow until you see Setup).

Important Note: When you get the new TV Guide, you'll need to reprogram your Parental Control Locks and Favorites. Also, note that DVR receivers may have more advanced features than standard digital boxes. For example, the DVR onscreen guide can display a picture of the current channel in the upper right hand corner of your TV screen while searching through the TV listings. Your standard definition box(es) do not have this feature.
