Insight offers two types of DVR receivers: a single tuner and a dual tuner. The single tuner receiver can record one show while simultaneously watching another previously recorded program. With this receiver, you cannot record one program and watch another live program at the same time.

 

With the dual tuner DVR you have several recording options:

• Record 1 show and watch another live show at the same time.
• Record 2 shows at the same time and watch one of shows you are recording.
• Record 2 shows at the same time and watch something you previously recorded on your DVR.

 

NOTE: To toggle back and forth between two live shows that you are recording or controlling, you must use the SWAP button. If you change the channel without using the SWAP button, you will lose your recording.
