Insight Broadband provides only Internet access for the Xbox to connect to specialized online Xbox game servers. Insight Broadband does not host or control the online Xbox game servers, and is not responsible for issues related to connectivity when attempting to connect to any Xbox game server. Insight Broadband is providing access to our high-speed Internet network, and can only provide support for matters related to general Internet connectivity.
Since Insight Broadband does not provide Microsoft Xbox equipment, you will need to contact Microsoft or your retailer for support regarding any technical problems that arise outside of general Internet connectivity issues.
A hub is needed to connect both an Xbox and a computer to the cable modem. Insight Broadband does not provide support for any form of networking equipment, such as hubs or routers. If you wish to use a hub, you will need to acquire one from a retailer or manufacturer, as this is equipment that is not available from Insight Broadband.
It is recommended that routers NOT be used in conjunction with using the Xbox online. Microsoft reports a number of gaming issues when the Xbox is connected to a router.
