Upon installation of the Insight Broadband service, you are given the opportunity to create a primary e-mail account and up to five additional e-mail accounts at any time. There are certain guidelines that must be followed in order to successfully complete a new (or changed) e-mail registration.

Username Requirements

1. The only other characters allowed in a username besides letters and numbers are the dash ( - ), underscore ( _ ), and period ( . ).
2. Usernames are not case sensitive, so Username@insightbb.com is the same as username@insightbb.com.
3. Usernames cannot exceed 64 characters.

Password Requirements

1. Passwords ARE case-sensitive. This means that "Password" is different than "password".
2. Your password(s) must be between 8 and 16 characters long.
3. Only numbers and letters are allowed; no spaces are allowed.
4. Your password cannot contain any of the following:

     1. Your e-mail ID (the name before the @ symbol in your e-mail address)

     2. Your first name

     3. Your last name

     4. The word "password"

Please make sure to secure your password to prevent unauthorized access to your Insight Broadband account. It should not be easy to guess, and if you write it down, make sure to keep it in a secured location.
